Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining accurate reservation records
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and manage cash/credit card transactions securely
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Utilize PMS software to manage room availability and bookings
- Uphold brand standards through impeccable personal presentation
- Assist with concierge services and local recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar PMS systems
- Exceptional communication skills in English; multilingual a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational excellence
- Valid New York State Food Handler's Certificate (or obtainable within 30 days)
