Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for all guests.
- Respond to incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Process payments, reconcile daily transactions, and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain the lobby and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and common areas are ready for occupancy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable personality with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
