Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration procedures are completed accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, directions, and local attractions in Indianapolis.
- Process payments and handle guest accounts with precision and courtesy.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely manner, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services and provide recommendations for local dining and entertainment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
