In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a memorable stay. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the front desk, ensuring efficiency and warmth in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival and departure.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using the Opera Property Management System.
- Answer incoming calls, manage guest inquiries, and handle correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms are ready and amenities are stocked.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict accuracy.
- Maintain the lobby area and front desk workspace to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Resolve guest complaints and special requests with a focus on exceeding expectations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
