As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is memorable. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Reception Management: Answer incoming calls, manage correspondence, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department efficiently.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest registrations, payments, and check-outs accurately using our property management system.
- Guest Assistance: Assist guests with local recommendations, directions, and special requests to enhance their experience.
- Mail and Packages: Sort, distribute, and log incoming mail and packages promptly.
- Maintain Lobby: Ensure the front desk area and lobby are tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Upselling: Inform guests of available services and amenities to maximize revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or hospitality training is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or reception role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS) is highly desirable.
- Professionalism: Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Attitude: A friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality is essential.
