Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process with a smile.
- Reservations Management: Assist with reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Front Office Operations: Handle incoming calls, manage mail and messages, and distribute faxes efficiently.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process various payment methods and handle cash handling duties in compliance with company policy.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Administrative Support: Maintain the front desk area, organize lobby amenities, and assist with lobby reception duties during peak hours.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest service.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
- Language: Fluency in English required; bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages are highly valued.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a polished appearance and adhere to dress code standards.
