Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently using hotel management software.
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions promptly.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the management team when necessary.
- Manage the front desk cash drawer and perform accurate end-of-shift financial reconciliations.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby spaces.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and common areas meet our high standards.
- Process payments and handle credit card transactions in compliance with company security policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Current forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
