In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, answer inquiries, and handle special requests with the utmost professionalism. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival and departure.
- Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, providing information regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and balance the drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist with concierge requests, including restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate them to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with POS or hotel software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
