Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, checking them in efficiently using our property management system.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and email regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Process payments and manage accurate cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services, including providing directions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with computers and hotel property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
