Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with the highest level of professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure the security and safety of the property, including verifying keys and conducting nightly sweeps.
- Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals, departures, and billing information.
- Assist in training junior staff members and maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling, bank deposits, and inventory checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or customer service role preferred.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management systems.
