Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Change linens, make beds, and refresh toiletries to hospitality standards
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
- Operate commercial-grade equipment (floor buffers, steam cleaners) safely
- Report maintenance issues and damaged items promptly to supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and eco-friendly cleaning practices
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours and special events
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours and lift 25 lbs consistently
- Valid NYC Housekeeping License or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Attention to detail with ability to spot inconsistencies
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
