Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to exceed hygiene standards
- Restock amenities including toiletries, linens, and supplies according to inventory protocols
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (floor buffers, extractors, etc.)
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisor immediately
- Adhere to strict time management during room turnovers to maintain guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with housekeeping team to ensure seamless shift transitions
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs and inventory reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail with ability to spot cleanliness imperfections
- Valid Texas driver's license (if driving company vehicles)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of EPA-approved disinfectants and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
