Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to established safety and sanitation standards.
- Bedmaking: Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all amenities are replenished (soap, shampoo, etc.) for a welcoming guest experience.
- Maintenance Reporting: Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, such as leaks or broken furniture, and report them immediately to the maintenance department.
- Trash Management: Empty trash cans, replace liners, and ensure waste disposal areas are kept tidy.
- Guest Relations: Greet guests respectfully and respond promptly to requests or inquiries regarding room services.
- Stocking: Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries in storage closets and guest rooms as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Background Check: Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
