Responsibilities
- Design quantum error correction protocols for scalable qubit architectures
- Develop cryogenic control systems for superconducting quantum processors
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in Nature/Science
- Secure $10M+ in government/private quantum research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum hardware development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., PennyLane)
- Track record of securing major research funding
