Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional quantum algorithm development teams across cryptography, machine learning, and optimization domains
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and quantum engineering interns
- Develop intellectual property portfolios with 10+ annual patent filings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Track record of securing major research grants (>$2M)
