We're seeking an innovative Quantum Computing Research Scientist to lead breakthrough projects in quantum error correction, algorithm optimization, and scalable quantum architectures. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, publish in top-tier journals, and contribute to patents that will power the next generation of AI, cryptography, and materials science.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent applications for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate research into commercial applications
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum computing field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum hardware platforms (superconducting qubits, ion traps)
- Published research in top quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with machine learning for quantum system optimization
- Ability to secure government and private research grants
