Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Secure federal and private research grants (>$2M annually)
- Publish findings in Nature Physics/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Advise C-suite on quantum adoption roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Active TS/SCI security clearance preferred
