Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into scalable quantum hardware prototypes
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with industry leaders to identify quantum-advantage use cases in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and HPC optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems preferred
