Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, AI, and material science
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum decoherence solutions
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum systems with classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and presentations
