Responsibilities
- Lead Animation Implementation: Translate 2D design concepts into high-performance, responsive web animations using modern JavaScript and CSS.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure all 2D graphics and animations run smoothly across devices, optimizing for 60fps frame rates and minimal load times.
- Technical Innovation: Utilize HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL (for 2D contexts) to create unique interactive experiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers to iterate on animation workflows and interactive prototypes.
- Code Maintenance: Maintain and refactor existing animation codebases to ensure scalability and long-term stability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in front-end development with a specific focus on 2D animation and motion design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3/Sass, and animation libraries such as GSAP, Framer Motion, or Anime.js.
- Graphics Proficiency: Strong understanding of the HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Frameworks: Experience with React, Vue, or Angular is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot rendering issues and optimize graphics for performance.
