Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive foresight frameworks for the 2026 horizon across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite teams to embed future intelligence into strategy
- Identify and quantify emerging risks and opportunities in emerging technology adoption curves
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate future-state prototypes against market evolution
- Present strategic foresight findings at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Maintain proprietary Horizon Scanning database with real-time trend analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in futurism, strategic foresight, or technology forecasting roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and quantitative trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., Harvard Business Review)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 clients on long-term strategic transformation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
