As a key member of our Global Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with industry pioneers, academic institutions, and government agencies to create actionable roadmaps for emerging technologies. You'll influence product roadmaps, identify market disruptors, and shape organizational strategy through data-driven futurecasting.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum-secure communications and AI governance frameworks
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for climate-resilient city infrastructure and autonomous mobility systems
- Analyze emerging biotech and neurotech convergence opportunities for commercial applications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces and spatial computing experiences
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling visual narratives
- Identify patent opportunities and IP strategies for breakthrough 2026-era technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership through white papers and keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology forecasting with Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley scale
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption (e.g., blockchain, AR/VR) with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI safety protocols
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms (e.g., Palantir, Gartner)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios implemented in commercial products
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
