Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor front desk team members to deliver premium service standards
- Manage check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and personalized attention
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly with solution-oriented approaches
- Oversee room inventory management and rate optimization strategies
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments for seamless operations
- Train staff on reservation systems and property management software
- Implement upselling techniques to enhance revenue per available room
Qualifications
- 5+ years in hotel front desk management with luxury property experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities with team development experience
- Valid North Carolina Food Protection Manager certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of local tourism attractions and transportation networks
