Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identification and payment methods.
- Manage phone inquiries and route calls to the appropriate departments promptly.
- Handle guest requests, including room service, wake-up calls, and local recommendations.
- Process reservations using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Maintain the front desk area in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
- Assist with lobby concierge duties and mail handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift luggage when necessary.
- A professional appearance and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
