Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, verifying guest identities and collecting payments.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries with poise, directing messages and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor front desk security systems and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
- Process reservations accurately and update the hotel management system in real-time.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management software.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
