Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and solution-oriented mindset
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge services
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Act as hotel ambassador, providing local recommendations
- Uphold brand standards and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Valid NYC Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Fluent English; Spanish/French a plus
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays
