Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms and public areas are spotless and meet brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to identify and rectify any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to prevent stock shortages and reduce waste.
- Train and mentor new housekeeping associates on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the engineering and front desk departments to address guest requests and maintenance work orders promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related hospitality role.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence in service.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
