Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel management software (PMS).
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or in person with a friendly demeanor.
- Handle guest complaints or requests with a positive attitude and problem-solving approach.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist with concierge services and provide local recommendations.
- Monitor security cameras and access points to ensure guest safety and building security.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS software is a plus.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
