Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration forms and payments are processed accurately and securely.
- Answer incoming calls and manage correspondence with a warm, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Assist guests with local recommendations, reservations, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Monitor front desk operations to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all guests and staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Stay updated on local events and hotel amenities to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- A positive attitude, professional appearance, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
