Responsibilities
- Room Maintenance: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, ensuring they meet our high standards of excellence.
- Linens & Amenities: Strip beds, wash linens, and replace with fresh amenities to ensure guest comfort.
- Inspection: Conduct post-cleaning inspections to identify and correct any maintenance issues or missed details before guest arrival.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and amenities to ensure the housekeeping cart is always fully equipped.
- Communication: Report maintenance problems or safety hazards to the Engineering or Management team immediately.
- Guest Relations: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests or other hotel staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and flexible holiday schedules.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Equipment: Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
