Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation and payments are processed accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding reservations, services, and local attractions with a warm, professional tone.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Manage the front desk operations during peak weekend hours, including concierge services and coordination with housekeeping.
- Process point-of-sale transactions, including room service and gift shop sales, with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby environment at all times.
- Update guest profiles and reservation systems in real-time to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hospitality management certificate is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within a hotel setting.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Strong computer proficiency with reservation and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Hotelworks).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- Valid driverβs license and a clean driving record.
