Responsibilities
- Oversee all weekend front desk, housekeeping, and food service operations
- Manage staff scheduling, payroll processing, and performance reviews
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and implement solutions
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance
- Train new staff on service standards and operational procedures
- Coordinate with department heads for weekend inventory management
- Generate daily operational reports for senior management
- Execute emergency response protocols during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel supervisory experience in front desk/housekeeping
- Valid California Food Handler and ServSafe certifications
- Proficiency in Opera PMS property management system
- Strong conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Availability to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland tourism attractions and services
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
