We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our premium weekend team at our hotel in San Jose, California. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Empty trash bins and replace trash liners throughout the hotel.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards and report them to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and hotel policies regarding cleaning procedures and COVID-19 safety.
- Organize storage closets and maintain a tidy work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work weekends (Friday to Sunday).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented demeanor.
