Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with UN SDGs and technological convergence trends
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives for quantum computing, biotech, and space commercialization impacts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Build and nurture an ecosystem of academic, governmental, and industry innovation partners
- Produce foresight reports and predictive analytics for board-level decision-making
- Drive adoption of circular economy and decarbonization methodologies across sectors
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Foresight (Master's with 10+ years experience considered)
- Proven track record in developing 5-10 year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and advanced AI
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review/MIT Sloan preferred)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFS, MFTR) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with policy analysis for technology governance and ethical frameworks
- Fluency in at least one additional language beyond English (Mandarin/Spanish/Japanese preferred)
