Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global technological, social, and economic trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align C-suite leadership on future-facing initiatives
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and white papers on 2026+ industry paradigms
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Advise clients on long-term digital transformation strategies with 5-10 year horizons
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking ability
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience leading strategic initiatives with $10M+ budget impact
- Certification in futures research (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent analytical frameworks
