Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging markets and regulatory environments
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough projects with 5-7 year commercialization horizons
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry forums, and predictive modeling publications
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-cultural shifts affecting long-term business resilience
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning capabilities
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-to-strategy translation initiatives
