Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and socio-cultural trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop data-driven strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term innovation
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed futurist thinking into product development and business operations
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and presentations for stakeholders and investors
- Identify and prioritize disruptive technologies requiring R&D investment or strategic partnerships
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitor future-readiness benchmarks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, futurist consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and futures methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact in future-oriented initiatives
