Responsibilities
- Architect and publish annual 2026 Futurist Reports identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Design strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion aligned with 5-10 year horizon projections
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams on existential risks and opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for future studies research
- Translate complex foresight insights into actionable business strategies for 15+ global divisions
- Mentor innovation teams in applying futures-thinking methodologies to product development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of applied experience
- Proven track record of publishing industry-defining trend analysis in tech or sustainability sectors
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future forecasting
