Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic roadmaps by analyzing emerging technologies, geopolitical trends, and consumer behavior patterns
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize futurist insights with product development and business strategy
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing sectors
- Create predictive models and scenario planning frameworks for 2026 market landscapes
- Present futuristic vision to executive leadership and board of directors quarterly
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry disruptors
- Integrate sustainability and ethical foresight into all strategic planning processes
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis and predictive modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting complex future scenarios to C-level executives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from APF or WFS)
