Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients navigating disruptive change
- Create immersive future-state simulations and stakeholder engagement materials
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify high-impact opportunities and threats
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps and investment strategies
- Present findings to executive leadership and external partners with compelling storytelling
- Maintain a dynamic trend intelligence database and publish thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Proficient with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executive-level recommendations
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech trend analysis preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills with portfolio of foresight projects or publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) highly desirable
