Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal disruptors through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for long-term organizational adaptation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex trends into actionable insights
- Design and implement pilot programs testing future-ready business models and operational paradigms
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation ecosystems to amplify foresight capabilities
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Proven track record developing scenario-planning frameworks and strategic foresight tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in innovation and strategic transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications preferred
