Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026+ technological and market evolutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints on quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Produce annual 'Horizon 2026' trend reports for executive stakeholders
- Architect strategic pivots for product roadmaps based on future scenario planning
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and future-focused institutions
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts using proprietary foresight frameworks
- Present quarterly 'Future Briefings' to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Published thought leadership on 2020s tech trends (Harvard Business Review, Wired, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, nanotech)
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Fluency in at least one strategic forecasting software (e.g., Palisade @Risk, Cognito)
