Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to map the 2026 business landscape
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate disruptive forces and market shifts
- Design scenario-based roadmaps for organizational adaptation to future realities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and industry thought leaders
- Produce trend reports and strategic whitepapers positioning FutureWorks as a future authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into business strategy
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to articulate complex future scenarios
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from AC/FF)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-strategy implementations for Fortune 500 clients
