Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast disruptive developments through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and implementation roadmaps
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports with quantifiable impact assessments
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and innovation accelerators
- Design and maintain a proprietary trend-sensing ecosystem using AI-augmented analytics
- Mentor junior futurists and drive organization-wide futures literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or scenario-planning methodologies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neurotech, and decentralized systems
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau, custom AI models)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Proven experience influencing C-level decision-making through data-driven futures insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
