Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and political domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios and roadmaps for organizational adaptation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on future trends
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Quantify risks/opportunities of emerging technologies for board-level decisions
- Mentor junior strategists in future methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or corporate foresight roles
- Proven experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Expertise in AI, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on future-focused topics
- Strong data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS)
- Experience scaling foresight processes in global organizations
