Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and socio-economic domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to map 2026+ scenarios and disruptors
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Produce evidence-based trend briefings and innovation roadmaps for board-level decision-making
- Establish cross-functional innovation pipelines for emerging market opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and market entry strategies
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (portfolio required)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from Association of Professional Futurists)
