Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor Innovation Fellows in emerging technology ethics and regulatory compliance
- Architect Horizon's 'Future Ready' talent development program for 2026 workforce needs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic planning implementations
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or AC/SF)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Sloan Review
