Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate adaptation technologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 2026 capability building
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $500M+ investment decisions
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodology frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused tech roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term transformation strategies
- MSc or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
