Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios incorporating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Analyze global megatrends (demographic shifts, resource scarcity, ethical AI) to inform long-term business strategy
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through immersive scenario planning workshops
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across enterprise operations by 2026
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience working with C-suite in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Published research or speaking engagements on 2020s technology trajectories
- Strong portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofing initiatives
