Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026+
- Develop quantitative trend models and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with Fortune 500 partners on future-state readiness
- Create annual '2026 Impact Reports' synthesizing cross-industry signals and opportunities
- Build AI-powered foresight tools to accelerate trend analysis and pattern recognition
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed future-readiness into product roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation forums and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and quantitative modeling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Published thought leadership on long-term strategy or disruption forecasting
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and cross-organizational alignment
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
